Over 100 emerging leaders from West African converged in Asaba Delta state Nigeria for a three days fully funded leadership and innovation bootcamp ,November 2023 .
The Government of Delta state honored and presented a certificate of recognition for youths Development and Advocacy to the Nottooyoungtolead initiative .
In the words of the then Commissioner for Youths Development, Comrade Ifeanyi Eyeunanga.
” The Nottooyoungtolead initiative is a commitment group of young persons that has inspired a better society with their works and advocacy “
David Smith MPP Scarborough centre, Kevin Vuong MP, and Scarborough Councillor Nick Mantas have enthusiastically endorsed the “Not Too Young to Lead” initiative.
In July, Amb Elvis Akpobi, the executive director of the group payed a working visited their offices ahead of the forth coming youth and nation building Conference in Canada, which is focused on transforming the mindset of young delegates from Nigerian and cultural exchange.
During this visit, the Canadian MPs and Councillor commended the program’s vision and objectives, highlighting its potential to foster meaningful leadership development. They recognized the significance of such initiatives in shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.
The MPs and Councillor also promised to actively participate as guest speakers, offering their insights and expertise to the Nigerian delegates.
Their involvement is expected to provide valuable lessons and inspiration, contributing to the overall success of the program and the growth of the young leaders involved.
