This program encompasses accelerating women and youths inclusion in governance across Africa. Africa has strong traditional gender and youth stereotypes that prescribe the rights of women/youths and impact gender equality. A key theme that emerged from the analysis related to this domain is that women in African province bear the burden of childcare and domestic work, and their roles within the household are sharply delineated according to gender stereotypes.
Hence, this program aims to help women and youth increase their decision-making power and self-confidence so that they can create and seize opportunities in governance.
